Become an author: write a story, play-script or comic strip!
I am not going to lie to you, I would like summer to feature in it, but it is not a must! If you choose for summer to feature in it, then it could be as a theme or as a metaphor.
Sick of being told what to write about? Or, writing for exams? Then this is for you! This is your chance to unlease your imagination. I would love to see your creative side, so be as wild and adventurous as you like!
You can include drawings and images with your masterpiece if you like.
Compose a poem or song!
I’m not going to lie to you, I would be ecstatic if summer featured in it. But, you do not have to! Summer could feature in it, as a theme, or as imagery brought to life with your words!
You can even do a performance piece.
If you are under 16, you must get your parent’s permission!
Voice your opinion by crafting a speech or argument!
Have you got a subect close to your heart? This could be anything from the music world to environmental and political issues. Whatever you’re passionate about, this is your opportunity to have your voice heard!
If you want to do a self-tape of your speech, then please do! However, if you’re under 16, you, MUST get your parent’s permission.
Express your opinion in a blog or vlog!
Have you taken up a new hobby during lock-down? Or maybe you have had to be flexible in how you do your hobby. For example, doing gymnastics in your house instead of a hall! Whatever it is, write about it in a blog. This is your chance to share your insights, opinion and interests.
If you’re an artist, send us some of your work and tell us what inspired you to create it.
Are you a foodie? Send me your recipes, your food experiments, your best dishes, so that you can inspire me to be creative in my kitchen!

I want to hear from you! All your ideas and work must be from you. If you choose to work with a friend (or friends), then make sure their names are included in the entry.
We respect your child’s privacy, which is why your child’s work will be published on the site with their age and first name. If you want a photo of your child featured, then please send it along with written permission for Kellie’s Tutoring to use it on the site and, potentially, for marketing purposes (if it’s really awesome), to the email address above.
For those 16 and above, we will also respect your privacy. You can submit your work to the site with the email above.
